At the start of the 2015 academic year, we rented a place from another agency that turned out to be uninhabitable according to the council. At that point in time we had nowhere else to go. We looked around with a lot of different estate agents; ZEBRAlets were the only agency who understood the predicament we were in and tried their utmost to help. My house mate and I initially signed for a property with another agency which, following the councils’ investigation, failed several health and safety checks leading to an eviction notice being served.
